Our Mission: To serve the homeless, the hungry, and the hopeful.

We live in a day and age where homelessness abounds in every community.  Soul Journers Outreach Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and was formed out of the ongoing work of ministering to the homeless in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas.  A group of Christians saw a need to provide toiletries and necessities to the families who were living around Charlotte’s infamous Tent City.  While doing this ministry, it was quickly discovered that each call for donations yielded a bigger and greater response, and this is how Soul Journers Outreach Ministries was founded.  We have since ministered to homeless encampments in Gastonia, NC, Monroe, NC and Greensboro, NC.

Homelessness is a complex problem and we at Soul Journers Outreach Ministries are here to aid and give a hand up to those in need.  Our short-term goal is to continue providing toiletries and basic needs while continuing to assist in finding temporary or permanent housing for families in need.  Our long-term goal is to obtain a permanent location where we will offer hot, nutritious meals daily in a welcoming environment while nurturing the individual needs of the community.
